More than 40 parks on Oahu welcome pets (Honolulu Star-Bulletin)

Question: The Humane Society’s PetWalk is this Sunday, but I thought pets are not allowed in parks. Answer: Pets are not allowed in some parks, but the county makes an annual exception for the Hawaiian Humane Society at Magic Island, where pets are otherwise prohibited.
